Yes, your problem is you need a $15 strategy guide for FPS. (Run, shoot,
repeat until you win)

http://www.gamefaqs.com - free strategy guides for just about every game
known to man (and woman).

You defenitly have an issue, it will not work on 360.

Hey champ no you do not have a problem as the pc version is a "games
for windows live" so that means it is exactly like its 360 brother. it
can actually be played cross console. any one that says otherwise is
either stupid or ignorant.

An old thread, but what the hell.

http://consoleupdates.com/2007/11/19/gears-of-war-no-cross-platform-play/
http://www.gamersquad.com/category/PC/Gears-of-War-PC-will-not-support-
cross-platform-play/

The ONLY game that lets you play PC vs. 360 is FASA's Shadowrun, some of
the devs who worked on the project said that the network code alone set
that game back a year. CliffyB wised up and didn't try or bother with it.

So call me stupid, because I know that "Games for Windows" is just a
marketing brand, it doesn't mean the game is automatically cross platform
compatible. I'm sure someone from Microsoft could chime in here, but
while I was never more than an associate producer in game development
I've known enough coders in my time to know who's stupid here.

If the games were the same then I'm sure cross platform would be easy,
but if that was the case then why aren't all XBox/PC games cross
compatible? Even XNA (which compiles the same code for PC and XBox360)
doesn't automatically do cross platform play.

It's tougher than you think. Just sayin...

Unfortunately you two are both wrong. The strategy guide is fine, it's the
same game either way. You may just have to figure out some controls on your
own, or when it says to click something figure out that you might have to
*gulp* hit a button instead!

Same game. Different platform. Not a problem in terms of strategy guides.
Don't listen to ignorant noobs.
